Superb! Bought my mum one too when her dvd went on the blink after the digital switchover.

Picture and sound quality are good. Silent operation. Good, solid remote control.

Tends to record repeats of programmes already recorded. Sound sometimes goes out of synch, but not as often as on some freeview boxes I have used.
