oldy but a goody

I purchased this unit from a secondhand shop for $8 and was surprised how good it was for it's age. It is excellent for just wathing tv, no record function, EPG only shows current and next program. I keep this unit as a backup, for instance, my Vivid...

Simple, works exactly as it should, great backup unit.

I live in a black spot on Gold Coast and although SD set top boxes I have had in past have helped a bit they tended to fall out frequently. This product is so much better even on SD channels and HD. I would highly recommend to anyone . I got mine from...

Excellent

Overall, considering this has an MDMI output, optical, S-Video VGA and RGB and has an intuitive, very-easy menu system (for doing some set-up tasks that require NASA training for some other units) thid id a very good value unit for the price.

Opened box. Plugged in. Followed prompt to auto-search. All channels fond and stored. Chnnnel list easily managed as I liked the positive remote feel and no lag. Picture ctystal clear.

Nothing operational. The clock, when in stand-by mode, will light up the living room.

Good

Value for money and simple to setup. I have had several STBs and this was the easiest to setup and use.

Simple to setup and picked up all local stations strongly. The menu system is simple and not overly complicated like some others. Good feature of being able to pick either 576p, 720p or 1080i for output. Channel changing time is reasonably quick....

None so far.
