Though it's a solid replacement to the Slingbox Solo, we would've hoped for a price drop after all these years. The Slingbox 350 does just one thing, but to its credit, it does it very well.

After waiting four years for the followup to the Slingbox Solo and Pro-HD we're glad there are fresh Slingboxes on the market, but in 2012 the 350 and 500 feel like half-hearted attempts on Sling's part. The best news here is that you can now stream...

It's hard to believe that the Slingbox has been around for seven years, but that only makes it harder to accept these are the first retail models that have been released since 2008. That finally changes today, though: Sling Media just introduced two...

The 500 costs as much as the older Slingbox Pro-HD, but doesn't do much more, save for streaming over WiFi. Most users would be fine with the cheaper Slingbox 350 instead.

Before there were "TV everywhere" apps, there was the Slingbox, a groundbreaking product that allowed you to stream your home TV signals to any PC or connected device on the planet, so long as you had the available bandwidth. After something of a...
The Slingbox 350 streams video from your TV or DVR (or any analog source) to your PC, tablet, smartphone, and some streaming boxes at resolutions up to full 1080p HD. IR blasters are built into the box’s body, eliminating the need for annoying extra...
Smartphone- and tablet-viewing apps cost extra. Unlike the step-up Slingbox 500 model, this one lacks Wi-Fi and HDMI support. It duplicates some of the features found on TV anywhere apps you may already be using. As always, streaming capabilities are...
The Slingbox 350 is an excellent way to watch your TV or DVR video content anywhere.

If you are considering buying a Slingbox PLEASE do your research before you buy!! A good place to start is slingbox's own answer forums (%s ). Search for "firmware update" or "software update" and you'll find dozens of instances of updates causing...
Allows place shifting for the period of time the warranty lasts.
Slingbox has a habit of sending out software updates after the product is out of warranty which causes the product to stop working. Owners are then forced to either pay $29.95 for tech support or embrace their newest paperweight.

I regret purchasing the product.
No hardware complaints.
They keep tabs on way too much personal data. The mobile app even keeps track of all the phone calls you make. This is totally unnecessary for this app to work. The web app keeps track of the web sites you visit as well as much other data.

For $173, the mobile apps cost more and "It lacks WiFi and HDMI capabilities" Enough said!
Since there is a minimum of 10 characters....

I'm amazed with this product. It is so nice to watch my cable HD programming on my iphone. I watch while in the backyard, at work and on the town. I love it when you're on vacation and can still watch your cable programming instead of the limited shows...

Like all other long time users, when my Pro-HD crashed on me I bought a 350. I am very disappointed to learn that I have to watch ads to use this. It defeats the ENTIRE purpose of the slingbox. I will be returning it now.

I bought a refurbished Slingbox 500 to connect to my direct TV box. It is easy to set up and works well. This is a great product!

I thought I would like this new Slingbox until the ADs started. This really stinks. I will surf around a bit and see if I can find a way to turn it off, but this is an annoying deal breaker.
