Sangean WFT-1D

Fast signal acquisition, looks good

Can't pause/fast forward/rewind tracks, no optical audio out port

The Sangean WFT-1D DAB+ media streamer is stylish, and it can receive digital radio. You can also use it to listen to Internet radio and play shared media over a network. We were disappointed at the inability to pause or fast forward tracks, however.

Sangean WFT-1D+

A bit of a jack-of-all-trades, this Sangean offers lots of different radio reception as well as excellent streaming capabilities. At the moment, it's a pretty unique bit of full-width component kit too, and given the feature count it represents...

Keeps failing on internet radio and music streaming

Every time I try to access an internet radio station the unit resets. It also resets when I try to browse my desktop music folder or stream music. nDAB+ works OK, but the antenna is very weak.nFM radio is even worse with loads of static.nVery regretful...

Add DAB+ to your HiFi setup

I've had this unit for six weeks. Location: Hilly inner suburb of Brisbane - no direct line of sight to the transmitter towers on Mt Coot-tha. Set up with the included telescopic antenna, wired LAN connection and analogue (RCA) inputs to a surround...

Good feature set, very good performance.

Excessive lighting in standby mode. Disappointing front panel appearance. No remote batteries. Manual needs revising.
