It was easy to install and use

I have this Freeview box in the bedroom, and I find the red/gold dial a little bright when the lights are turned off, so I put something over it i.e. a sock to dim the brightness.

Easy to install , menus easy to use and the picture quality has improved dramatically compared with my previous set top box

Pretty good value for money..as it is so cheap!

Mine kept switching to 16:9, even though I had set it to 4:3. Then all channels went black and white..or RED! I have had previous goodmans freview boxes and have been very happy with them, so this may have just been a bad one. Returned it for a refund.

has locked up a couple of times for no obvious reason.

EPG, setup is easy, small and light

remote control is not very ergonomic

Automatic setup handles absolutely everything. Digital audio output makes watching films on TV even better if you got the right cinema system, and if you got a widescreen TV it can output in 16:9 format in the relatively simple menu.

Only bad point is the fact there's no card slot for the pay-to-view channels.

Cheap, easy to use, all round good product.

Can sometimes fall victim to bad signal. Very short wires eg. scart and ariel.
