Works great

I have used this in-wall volume control several times in a variety of applications. One of my favorite applications is to use this with a stereo in-ceiling speaker mounted in a bathroom. Some people look at me funny when I mention that idea, but what...

Not for all amps

This unit worked they way it should, but the description should tell the user what type of amp it is for. Will not work with mine, and store will not take it back. Make sure you have a 4 channel amp. Not happy, I'll just sell it on the net I guess. Not...

delicate wiring, fine result

Wiring into the little terminals is a delicate process. TIP: If your wiring is larger than #16, install short "pigtails" to the terminals, then connect them to your large wire using wire nuts.

Product was easy to install and operate, but you can barely hear the speakers that it is attached to when put at full volume. This is a 100W max volume control and I hooked to two 60W speakers. [...]

Great Sound Quality

This volume control delivers great sound to the BOSE in-wall speakers I am using in my new home. I have compared it too more expensive volume controls and found that the Radio Shack 100W volume out performs them in power through put and sound quality.
