Tripp Lite AirPort Express Remote Control Model URM-17A

I had this on an xp media pc but when I upgraded to a win7 pc, I discovered that this is not plug and play yet keyspan (owned by tripplite) does not make a 64 bit driver, nor plans to. For the cheap Newegg price that is currently listed and if there...

Works great on XP 32 bit

No 64 bit support

Good Remote

I originally bought one of these 5 years ago and still use it. Had several family members impressed by it and am here buying a another one for a gift. Buttons can be easily reprogrammed to emulate any key and the software is smart enough to...

Wish it had more buttons

GREAT REMOTE

For the cost of this item , it is a great deal .

Works perfectly with XP , easy to install easy to map , works with Vista 32 Bit , even though it is not supposed to . The description for this product lists the OS it is supposed to work with , so if it does not work with your Vista OS , that is your...

Oldie but Goodie

People have complained that this product has no drivers for the 64-bit version of Windows Vista. While that may be true, I think they're asking a bit much, here. I bought this remote back when Vista was still called "Longhorn" and 64-bit computing was...

Does what it says it will, and does it well

Doesn't work with operating systems that didn't exist when it did

Used to be called iTunes remote

I use this device all the time while watching movies on my laptop when I exercise, and it's light enough to stick to frame of my "glider" with a small piece of velcro (most remotes are too big). There are probably better remotes out there for the money...

Once you figure it out the keys they are easy to map, and it works well with XP. The batteries lasted a couple of years

Poor driver support for Vista, no documentation, not intuitive

No x64 support, ever

Tech support told me that there's not enough users of x64 bit software, yet, they have plenty of drivers for OS X. In fact, they have drivers for Mac OS 8-9. The fact that I was basically lied to, and treated like I have very limited technical know...

The remote is nice, and the software is very good. It allows you to emulate keystrokes, so you can use it with just about anything

There are no x64 drivers. I called tech support, and the guy told me that there probably NEVER will be any 64 bit drivers. He was smart and knowledgeable, but basically told me I was never going to be able to use this on an x64 OS. He said there...
