Unreliable - Will never purchase one again

I purchased my CF-110 back in 2005. So it is 9 yrs old. I have had the odd problem with it here and there, including having to leave it with an authorized dealer who had to replace a board. I last took it out on a week long trip in Nov 2014 and since...

I bought this new and fitted it to go traveling in a troopcarrier with dual battery setup one deep cycle. Fridge works great on 240 v or in car when on the move but once engine is turned off about 4 hours later fridge turns off, replaced Both car...

Great Fridge

ct when vehicle in motion...I have both fridges in insulated Waeco brand fridge bags but a little sceptical as to how well they insulate ...more for protection cosmetically I think. I love my Waeco,s and wouldnt be without a fridge ever again...

Great Fridge

I own a Waeco 110L and a 40L, Have taken these fridges with me up and down the east coast of Australia working and holidaying. I have found the 40L much better for a drinks fridge as it will cool much much quicker than the 110L. Use the big beast for...

Cannot depend upon my Waecos

econds shop. At the time they said it would still carry a 5 years guarantee, and when it did play up, I had no problem getting it replaced. Same with Rivets for handles and catches, my needs have been met at no cost and no hassle. I love the Evakool...

CF-110

I have owned my Waeco CF-110 from brand new for 5 years and found it to be the biggest waste of money and should have gone with the Engel. Other than the two latches I've had to replace It has killed two deep 100 amp cycle batteries and I have recently...

5 Years old still working today.

e cut-out and overides. I have run heavy duty copper wire back from my spare battery but have always had problems with this units voltage drop cut-out. This unit also has a habit of blowing fuses in its cord just due to normal plugging and unplugging....

Its quite simply huge.

Its shuts down on low voltage, the plugs are prone to falling out, it has an external transformer which was replaced under warranty

I brought this fridge and have had some minor issues with it. The Plugs need to be replaced because they fall out. This is common to any compressor 12V Fridge its not a Waeco issue. In short get rid of the cigrette lighter plugs ASAP. I used this unit...

Great unit

Have owned this for 8 odd years - never let me down, either running as a deep freezer at -18C or as a normal chiller at 3 to 4C. Current draw at 38C ambient is about 4.75 at start up, drops back to around 3 amps after settling down; once at...

Pricing, and reliability

12v cord plug in was a bit sloppy, swapped for a 90 degree plug, no dramas.
