Excellent Refrigerator

After much research and reading reviews like this I bought this refrigerator about 6 months ago. The design is excellent. No complaints nor regrets. I did have a weird buzzing noise and called for service after reading some of these reviews about...

Design, storage, size, ice size, water dispenser

none

Fisher Paykel RF201A Refrigerator

Do NOT buy this fridge if you want ice.  The icemaker is criminally poor, inadequate, deficient.  You will get a terribly small amount of terribly small cubes every few hours.  I think FP actually says 4-6 cubes per hour is what this machine is...

Attractive.  Spacious

Terrible ice maker.  Simply terrible

Nice looking unit

Water dispenser drips, crisper is a piece of flimsy plastic that keeps falling out

Beautiful but quirky

This is a very attractive unit and the interior flexibility is much better than the GE or Kitchenaide versions (and all those that re-brand  - Dacor, Viking, etc.).  If you use the filtered water regularly (daily) then you want it in the door to avoid...

Style, flexibility, interior configuration and layout.  Good use of space

Easy to freeze water line, manual not good for troubleshooting (like freezing lines)
