Although the size was a bit of a challenge for us, we are glad to chose to go with this refrigerator. The LED lights and the in-the-door icemaker make it much better than our old one.

Aussie built, doesn't need a bag around it to work, better price and simple design so less to go wrong in the bush, maybe if the others spent more on r&d and less on advertising there fridges would sell themselves like the Fridgemate, cheers

The cooler fits on the kitchen counter just perfectly and we cannot hear it unless the fan is on and we're standing next to it. The temperature stays at 60° consistantly. I didn't think we would find such a quiet cooler!

I will use the frig in DC mode, where a quiet little fan comes on, but only when the compressor is running. It's quieter than my laptop. The frig uses 4.0 amps (at 13 volts DC), which is similar to my laptop.
