Yamaha RX-V1500 - AV receiver - 7.1 channel

7-channel, 120-watt A/V receiver; automated setup and room-tuning equalization; THX Select certification; generous proprietary surround-processing options; turntable input; three-zone/multiroom operation.

It's a full 17.1 inches deep; only two component-video inputs.

Yamaha's luxurious receiver scores well on the value, features, and sound-quality fronts, but its flexible surround processing clinched the deal for us.

Awesome Reciever

Looking between the Pioneer Elite VSX-52TX, we looked at the difference in our local home audio store. The salesman put a cd in from the pioneer elite, and then from a lesser model Yamaha receiver, not the 1500. You could definitely tell that the...

After a bad experience with a refurbed A/V receiver from an East coast supplier (different brand) i bought the Yammie V1500 from the local Good Guys (Tukwila WA). With purchases like this I am prepared to pay extra and buy up close and personal, so I...
