Consumer review (newegg.com)

Works Great

This is a cheap alternative to a lot of expensive other options. I am very satisfied with this product.

After reading mixed reviews, I was hesitant to buy this. It does perform well though. I use it to control my Tivo from another room. Pretty much just plug and play. No setup or anything. The sending unit pointed at my tivo works great at 10 feet away....

If you haven't used it for a while, unplug it- then plug it back in before using. Not sure if it has a sleep mode or anything, but that did the trick.

Cool

I hope it last many years. My a/v rack is behind me. Im thinking of moving all a/v equip upstairs to make living room look cleaner/more space/ Quieter. all i need is a hole in the floor

Pluged it in (obviously in the right order) and now no matter where i point my remote my stuff works. + it looks better than in the pictures

Transmitter Did not work

I will probably get a different product

Zero

Transmitter completely dead. I plugged it in and tried many remotes from many angles and LED does not light at all. I read the manual thoroughly to on avail.

works great

Bought this on a recommendation from a co-worker. Works great. I do think that some other reviewers did not set this up properly. The IR sensors are on the side not the grey front.

Works great from the other side of the house.

No problems what-so-ever.

1st one didn't work

Would offer extreme convenience for a low price.

1st transmitter didn't work, sent back to newegg for replacement. The manufacturer wouldn't replace without jumping through hoops. Will write another review after replacement arrives.

Leapfrog

IR range and width seems limited but functions ok. will work for the average user as long as your not at an extreem distance 100' feet or less between boxes and 10-20 ft. betweeen you and the reciever.

Cheep but it works. Comes with an optional IR extender cable to control up to 3 different, Dvd Satalite boxes, ect.

Aluminum telescopic antenna instead of rubber or plastic stub antena.

Neat system BUT doesn't work with Scientific Atlantic Cable boxes

This remote extender is an easy to use cheap answer to those $$$ price remotes. BUT Scientific Atlantic Cable boxs operate at a different frequency so this did not work for me. (Worked great with our DVD player).

Easy to set up and use

Doesn't work with Scientific Atlantic HD Cable box
