Pioneer VSA E06

Perfect best amp ever good bass has loudness switch..

The amp was very good value when I purchased it and iam still pleased with it now. The sound from it has a wonderful midrange for music but must be partnered with bass heavy speakers or a subwoofer for best effect.

Sweet music to my ears, even though this amplifier works best with Dolby Digital.

Coupled with the Pioneer 717 DVD player the home theatre experience is terrific. I think its a bit sneaky though rating it as 100w per channel into 6ohms when the convention is 8ohms. This is a minor criticism of an otherwise class act.

I've owned this amp for a while and I'd say that for the price it's superb. My main criticism is of the bass control on large speakers. Admittedly I'm pushing it a bit but I've got Mirage M1's (huge bipolar speakers) and the bass is all over the place...
