IntelliTouch EOS Wireless (EOS100T1RB)

The IntelliTouch EOS Wireless (EOS100T1RB) iPod dock provides 48KHz streaming audio for up to four satellite speakers. Although the system works quite well, the $449 price tag is a little high given the lack of features like a built-in clock or radio.

Streams 48KHz audio to up to four satellite speakers, good wireless range, good mid-range and treble ;

Occasionally weak bass, lacks some functionality, remote cannot control iPod menu, expensive ;

IntelliTouch Eos Wireless

Sonos meet the Eos. Now there's a much cheaper wireless audio system for the home.

Strong wireless range. Works through doors. Crisp sound. Dock controls up to four wireless speakers.

Not much bass. No visual for mute on dock. Short cables on huge AC adaptors. Membrane remote has limited functionality.

Call it a poor man's Sonos, the Eos is an iPod dock with an aux in and very few functions other than the big onewireless transmission.
