Rare find

Wish it had HDMI inputs, would have made for the perfect receiver. My HDTV has 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs however, so this was not a concern for me.

One of the most diverse and powerful receivers to be found at the sub-$500 price range. Each channel has a dedicated 50 watts of power, so no worries about interpreting a manufacturer's 'Peak Wattage' rating. Easily turns stereo inputs into 5.1 or 7.1...

Why bother

Why spend any money on an A/V receiver that doesn't include the class of input that is clearly poised to dominate the market. This receiver has no HDMI inputs, outputs, upconversion, etc. That means that it won't take HDMI input from Blu-Ray or HD-DVD...

I'm sure its a great surround receiver

No HDMI

Home Run

WOW. The crisp, the punch, the voices... you cannot go wrong with HK. ipod owners can plug in with one cable and the HK bridge and control with the remote onscreen. very nice

the remote is a tad small for my hand
