DO NOT USE TO CHARGE IPHONE !!!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS TO CHARGE AN IPHONE !!!! I have a 32GB 3GS that I purchased in February. I purchased the Eton Microlink FR160 at Radio Shack for a Cub Scout campout to celebrate the 100 years of scouting. We were camping in a farm field with...

Handy little radio

This is a good, ultra-compact weather radio that fits into one hand. Where I live in suburban Philly it picks up two separate NOAA channels clearly. The hand crank saves me from buying batteries, and 3 minutes of cranking gives me an hour of radio...

Fantastic Sound!

I bought this radio for its emergency uses but it works GREAT when you use it regularly. The sound is clear and volume has a great range. I listen to this radio everyday at work in the lab.

It Doesn't Get Better

What I really love about this radio are the following: It's small, portable, lightweight and does have two power modes. No more being stuck without alkaline batteries. About the only thing I don't like about it is that the battery life isn't that great...

Cool.

I'm pleased with this little radio. Considering its price and size, I have no complaints. Reception is good, the power sources work as claimed, and it seems well put-together. I got it for emergencies, but have found myself using it around the house in...

Suckers this toy is not for densely populated areas like NYC! just write some intelligent and objective reviews! It is an emergency radio not a Bose!

Good for emergencies

This is a lightweight unit with a good working light, very clear NOAA reports (channel 7 here), light enough to put in my pack without weighing me down. Good to have for listening to unfolding weather situations while out and about.
