Take the time to read the instructions & try everything. The unit sounds even better when it's broken in. Couple hundred hours. Try several different speaker (brands) with it - in your home, to find optimal sound.

I listened to this unit, one from Marantz, Harman-Kardon, and Rotel. I liked the Pioneer & the Rotel, but the Rotel was $300 more, without either HDMI 1.4a or I-Pod connectivity.

I use with a home theater pc AT&T Uvwerse Cable system Xbox 360 Sony DVD changer Wii Game Wish HMG was a little more Win7 in appearance

The only comment i would say is: Buy this receiver!!!!!
