Performance

Denon AVR-1906

7.1-channel A/V receiver; 85 watts per channel; component-video switching; component-video conversion; can be reconfigured to biamplify compatible front speakers; easy autosetup; lip-sync delay; A/B speaker switching; Zone 2 outputs.

Only three rear-panel A/V inputs; lacks HDMI connectivity; not XM-ready.

While the Denon AVR-1906 can't boast the ultimate features list in its midrange class, it does offer the company's typically impressive sound and build quality at an affordable price.
