1 speed fan. loud Works, quality ok, sounds decent to me, internal crossover works fine. gettin an active x-over later, but for now, it gets the job done. Update 6/25/2013 - on/off switch no longer works, stays always on (10 day normal use)

but yes it is OK. Foe emergency in power outages, or outside in my forrest work pretty good. On short vawe bands in evening I can hear signals all over the world.

bought this tablet for my son and it doesn't work anymore, my suggestion is to invest another 100 bucks and get something good wouldn't recommend any one this tablet, by the first week it started freezing and was extremely slow.
