its a nice vu meter for any system, problem is that there is a mode that starts as soon as no sound is playing, it will start running and stays on and there is no way you can shut it off.

The 909 is rather deaf on shortwave and on medium wave there is a constant background audio tone. The only band it functions well on is VHF FM. Rather disappointing overall and I would NOT recommend it.
