Panasonic PT-AX100 review

Panasonic provides both price and performance to please

Good range of features ; Modest price tag

Hi-def images are less impressive

The PT-AX100 offers far more flexibility and performance than you've any right to even dream of for a low price

Panasonic PT-AX100E review

Panasonic's PT-AX100E projector will happily digest any HD fodder you throw at it. But is it a worthy flatscreen replacement?

Panasonic PT-AX100E

Panasonic's PT-AX100E is another 3LCD projection design that has been shaming its DLP rivals with a performance that can claim to be class-leading at this price. The off-white design appears ordinary but allows the machine to disappear into its...

Flexible design; advanced technology; simplistic set up; peerless picture quality

No vertical keystone correction

Panasonic PT-AX100U Projector Review

The PT-AX100U offers some updates to what was quite possibly the best-selling product of 2006. With smooth screen technology and a powerful lens shift, form meets function in this low cost

ZERO screen door effect from real viewing distances ; Excellent contrast with deep, rich colors ; Consumer adjustment of RGB gain, cut and gamma ; Backlit remote ; Light Harmonizer" dynamic picture adjustment ; 1080p/24/60 support

IR sensor on front only ; Non-standard power cable ; No 12V trigger

Panasonic PT-AX100E

The PT-AX100E is similar to Panasonic's award winning PT-AE900 -- it keeps all the excellent visuals, but this time it's twice as bright. An excellent projector for the money.

Excellent picture regardless of source. High brightness. Sophisticated, yet simple, menu system. Manual lens shift and zoom.

Limited setup options. No learning remote. Larger than competitors.

The PT-AX100E is similar to Panasonic's award winning PT-AE900, it keeps all the excellent visuals only this time it's twice as bright. An excellent projector for the money.

Panasonic PT-AX100E

Another year has rolled past and it is that time again when the good folk at Panasonic unveil another "cheap as chips" home theatre projector. Although Panasonic now seem old hands at the home theatre projector scene, it has only been about five years...

Often these "facts and figures" are little more than marketing hype. However the real life performance of the AX100E certainly feels close to what they have stated. Previously you could have either high lumen (light) output at the cost of contrast...

Panasonic PT-AX100U

The Panasonic PT-AX100U is a near perfect addition to Panasonic's long and storied line of excellent High Definition 3-chip LCD home theater projectors.

The Panasonic PT-AX100U's $2,999 price tag is a bit hefty (much like the projector itself) but its "street price" is appreciably lower, so it still offers excellent value for an HD-compatible (720p) LCD projector. Older models of the Panasonic had a...
