Optoma Pico PK320

If you want something that's small enough to fit in a coat pocket or a small bag that will allow projection onto a wall then Optoma has a range of tiny projectors that may be ideal.

Small and light, easy to use, good connectivity, reasonably bright projected image

Projected image not an accurate rendering of original, quite pricey for casual use

Overall, the PK320 is an excellent portable solution for small group business presentations, showing off your pictures or videos on the road, or even for turning your hotel room into a cinema when you're on holiday.

Optoma Pico PK320 Pocket Projector

The Optoma Pico PK320 Pocket Projector is a tiny WVGA data projector with a solid range of connectivity options.

Easily portable. Good range of connections. Minimal rainbow effect. Long-lasting LED light source. Can run computer-free presentations from internal or external memory.

Awkward menu system. Tinting issue in data images. Slightly larger projectors offer higher brightness and resolution and other features for not much more money.

Higher resolution than most Picos at SVGA 854×480, Has a microSD card slot for loading presentation slides, photos, videos…, Accepts HDMI, Has a USB port to read files from, 45 measured lumens with internal , 102 lumenswith AC power or external battery...

40 or 100 lumens still isn’t very bright on any average sized projected image – needs a fairly dark room., Battery lasts only 45 minutes or so in brightest (but will last almost twice that long in their “eco” (Standard) mode), Not quite as small as...

I think the Optoma PK320 is the greatest little projector around!  That’s even though I personally don’t really have a need for a pico projector.  I really liked the older PK301, but I love this PK320. OK 100 lumens still isn’t a whole lot, but as I...

The projector comes with a remote that allows complete control of the projectors functions and the on-screen menu system is pretty staightforward. You also get a lot of accessories with this projector, but keep in mind not all regions will have the...

Dark environments with little ambient light for best viewing. A much better projector for sharing what you want, with a few people not a large room full of them

Optoma Pico PK320

Great peak brightness is offset by an inaccurate color gamut.

The Pico PK320 ($429 MSRP) is a pocket-sized projector from Optoma. It's a bit pricey for a pico projector, considering a 1080p home theater projector starts at about $200 more, but we say it's worth the extra coin.

A scientific, in-depth analysis with side-by-side comparisons

Great peak brightness for a pico; A super set of port connections

The color gamut is not accurate; The menus are inventive but not intuitive
