Fairly light, fairly bright, good range of menu functions and Value for money.

Light portable - great picture easy set-up

You need to buy a separate HD cable

Optoma HD600X-LV

Easy to set up. Good selection of controls. Cheap for a HD Ready projector. Small and easy to carry around.

Only horizontal keystone adjustment. Focal zoom doesn't seem to do much. Refresh rates seems slow, especially when watching HD films.

Great value for money. Easy to set up. Picture is bright even in a lit up room. Quality of image is decent, even on a plain white wall.

Sound out is pretty dire via the 3.5mm audio jack. Hard to ceiling mount even with the optoma mount. Slight rainbow effect on bright scenes. Focus can be a bit fiddly to keep the image sharp.

Good Budget Projector with good picture quality and low noise. Ideal starter home theater projector with native 720p resolution.

No lens shift. Focus needs resetting at each use as lens cover moves lens when fitted/removed. Lens throw distance on the long side for modern rooms.
