Roku HD1000

Can pull files directly from network hard drive. HD (or standard) TV output. Front flash-memory slots for photos. Attractive design, simple remote.

Few buttons on remote. No integrated wireless (works with external USB Wi-Fi adapter). WMA music support is promised soon, but is not quite ready as of this writing.

The Roku HD1000 is the most elegant and advanced digital media hub we've tested yet. It features HDTV support and front-panel slots for direct photo playbackand a new, lower price.

Roku HD1000 review

Roku HD1000

Streams audio, video, and photos from networked PCs; outputs in standard and high-definition TV resolutions; works with or without a network connection; A/V pass-through; great interface and case design.

No built-in wireless-networking support; can't play WMA files; supports only MPEG video; chokes on some MP3 files.

The stylish Roku HD1000 serves up digital video and photos in high definition, but it streams fewer file formats than competing devices.

Roku HD1000

Roku's HD1000 offers high definition photo and video presentation in a simple to use set top box. Check out our early impressions.

Outlook: If you're stuck struggling with an HD display and a surprising lack of content to display on it, the HD1000 could be a great solution, at least until HD broadcasting really takes off in Australia.

So you've finally got your fantastic, large, museum-quality HDTV set … what now? You can take advantage of the few HDTV broadcasts out there and they're definitely cool for epic movies and sports events, but what about when the TV sits idle, taking up...

MITSUBISHI HD1000 DLP 720p Home Theater Projector w/ 106" Fixed Frame Screen, celling mount, 30" HDMI & 25" component cables

Great for gaming, movies, presentations...and usually cheaper than a new plasma or lcd tv.

Although only 720P vs 1080P the picture is amazingly crisp and sharp. I have it ceiling mounted about 14' back and get an 8' wide picture. It is whisper quiet. I did have to replace the lamp after about 14 months which was well over 2000 hours of use....

Awesome Deal!

I have it mounted 13' back from the screen and can project just shy of an 8' wide image. This is definately the best home projector out there for the money. I can't tell any difference bewteen mine (720P) and my father's 1080P at the screensize I am...

I use this as a bigscreen TV in a basement room where it is easy to control light. The picture is brilliant, the contrast is awesome, everything looks great even with the lights on. Very little noise

Wish the remote was RF instrad of infared...when mounted at the ceiling sometimes hard to get a signal...Actually have to stand up off the couch occasionaly

HD1000U

I found a 96" wide 4:3 screen for a lot cheaper than the 16x9 ones online (better variety too) and just don't unroll it all the way. It's a white screen with a bunch of little glass beads stuck all over the surface, really seems to help the contrast...

I've had this for 10 months (1500 hrs on the bulb) and I love it. Works great and I always use it in low lamp mode and keep the room very dim ; All the inputs work great, but I usually just use the component ones with my 360. Occassionally I'll hook a...

Regular DVD playback. Most DVD players distort the picture so it takes up the whole width of the screen, but only 1/3 the height. You have to tell the projector it's a 4:3 signal, but then you're only using half your screen. My solution was to use XBMC...

Great Gaming Projector

If you're thinking about this projector, I say go for it, as long as you have the right room for projecting. It will take some time and effort getting it set up compared to your average plug it in anywhere and play it TV, but it's well worth it. How...

I bought this projector about a month ago after doing a lot of research, and let me tell you, it is freaking awesome ; Foremost, for me, it's a great gaming projector. I bought this specifically to play with an Xbox 360. My main concern was about the...

Placement. Like everyone says - this projector has an offset picture. You need to mount this projector very high. I built a simple stand with two 2x4's positioned vertically about 8 inches apart and set the projector upside down on top of those. This...

Good Projector Bad Bundle

I dont feel this was in whole a mess up from new egg and they have fixed the issue. It seems there was a miscommunication between vendors. Make sure this issue has been resolved before ordering.

The projector arrived and worked perfectly. The zoom range made the projector flexible for an 11ft to 15 ft room. The picture quality is excellent and the settings are good right out of the box. Unbelievable price for a bundle like this

This was listed as a bundle however none of the accessories arrived. No screen, no cables, no ceiling mount
