Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 730HD

 

Despite the name, the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 730HD is best described at a home entertainment projector.

Inexpensive. LCD engine means no rainbow artifacts. Suitably bright for a living room or family room.

Native resolution is consistent with 720p video, but 1080p input requires scaling. No 3D support.

Epson does movie night on the cheap

 

Epson's PowerLite Home Cinema 730HD is a very cheap and very bright projector, which should have all the features you need for an impromptu movie night.
