Acer K132

The Acer K132 is a small and lightweight data projector with decent image quality and a relatively sparse set of connection choices.

Very compact. Featherweight. HDMI-in port. Long lamp life. 3D capable.

Feeble sound system. No audio-out port. Limited connectivity choices. Best used in a small, dark room.

Two things set the Acer K132 apart from other LED-based micro-projectors we've looked at; its surprisingly light weight for its brightness, and its relatively sparse selection of ports. You can't run presentations from SD cards or USB keys, or connect...

Acer K132 LED DLP Projector Review

Review: The diminutive Acer K132 LED DLP projector uses an LED light source. That's not amazing in and of itself, except that it boasts 500 lumens of output-plenty enough for home theater use.

Great value for a modern projector design

My first projector as a 90's 3-LCD model at VGA resolution, drawing 450 watts for a rated 180 lumens, and being about the size of a typewriter. I paid 20 dollars for it at a junk store, and used it about 1000 hours before it burned out. How the...

RGB LED DLP - no bulbs, no whirring color wheel, vivid colors, super low power draw, and sufficient brightness to be comfortably usable. Very small and lightweight. Resolution is high enough to make a decent monitor - I have about a 10 foot image, and...

Fan is a noticeable whir comparable to a high power graphics card. I know there has to be a fan, but it is particularly high pitched and whiny. Is what it is!

Best in price range

No better projector in its price range. I bought it as a starter, but I may also travel with it. It's usable in a lit room, but looks better in a dark room. The included MHL cable doesn't work with my Samsung phone and tablet. I used a different MHL...

Inexpensive Small Lightweight Not loud

Sometimes goes out of focus, but not so much anymore. I wish it was 1080P; the upscaled resolution looks blurry so I keep it on native. The speakers are not worth mentioning.
