Acer C20 Pico projector review

The Acer C20 Pico projector might be one of the smallest and cheapest projectors on the market, but it's capable of impressive picture quality.

Decent picture quality; good connectivity options; small and portable; reasonable price

Not the brightest picture; battery life could be better; gets warm after prolonged use

Highly portable and cost effective, the C20 is a really good effort from Acer, and the ability to project a decent 66in display from such a small device is especially impressive. While it will most likely be used for entertainment, business users who...

Acer C20 pico projector

Highly portable. Includes a variety of connection methods. Playback via microSD. Relatively inexpensive.

Images are fuzzy. Lacks tilt controls. Focus controls tricky to use. Lacks key accessories.

Acer's pico projector ticks all the boxes for a portable projector, but fuzzy images and poor focus control make it an annoying projector to use.

Acer's pico projector ticks all the boxes for a portable projector, but fuzzy images and poor focus control make it an annoying projector to use.

Highly portable ; Includes a variety of connection methods ; Playback via microSD ; Relatively inexpensive

Images are fuzzy ; Lacks tilt controls ; Focus controls tricky to use ; Lacks key accessories

At AU$489, the C20 is among the cheaper brand-name pico projectors on the marketplace, but it's not without its flaws and limitations. If you're only making rather short presentations, and not using the speakers in any meaningful way, it's fair — but...
