Extended warranty the worst

Purchase this printer for sure just not the extended warranty.

The printer is great. I would purchase again. You get a lot of pages out of the ink for your money

The extended warranty that i purchased from New Egg is the worst. I am still waiting for the company that is suppose to work on my printer to call me. So far it has been a week now. When i spoke to the company that was assigned to work on my printer,...

so far so good

I got this because my office needed a printer that can do color cardstock printing. It works fine so far but a set of ink almost costs as much as the printer itself.

good print quality, handles cardstock paper, pretty easy to setup

ink prices are insane

FREE LIFTIME SERVICE

I see that a lot of people are complaining about the high cost of repairs ; Maybe they don't know about Xerox's Lifetime Free Repair Service ; It's called "econcierge" service and if you buy your supplies from Xerox you never have to worry about a...

Must buy Genuine Xerox Supplies (No Compatibles) ; little more expensive, but the free service more than makes up for it

DO NOT BUY

get a hp450 series for about $350

The wax squares are easy to replace

Gave nothing but troubles. When we got it, appeared to be new, had a European bios. had to get a tech out to flash it. About 6 months in, it needed an almost complete overhual. Before we replaced it, had a local printer tech inspect it, needed $400...

Xerox issues

I think everyone should know the truth about what they are buying and if you're going to spend this much money on a printer you should know the inherent problems that equipment will have. Now Xerox support is great and if you have warranty they get you...

Superb color printing

Cost and repairs. If you're a home user who only prints color every now and then this printer is not for you ; Unlike the other IT tech who commented how great this model is I am here to counter his comment, as a certified Xerox tech I can tell you...

Xero nonsense

I covered most of the facts in the pro and con section, but as an IT professional, it's critical that what I sell my clients actually does what they expect -- work forever. This is it. I feel perfectly fine setting up doctors offices and law firms with...

I've had two years experience with Xerox products, in a high print volume business. A mistake people make when purchasing a Xerox product is not to check into their exclusive eConcierge service. In my office, there are an 8550DN, 8560MFP, and an 8570....

There aren't very many cons to this printer, but the one thing I can say is that it is surprisingly heavy. It's so heavy that if you're going to be moving it for any extreme distance, you pretty much need a dolly. Stairs? Get another person to help you...

It's Solid Ink from here on out

This is my first experience with a solid ink laser printer. For business printing using Adobe products, the quality is outstanding. I was surprised by the excellent quality for photo printing which exceeded the quality of my brand name ink jet. Goodbye...

Excellent print quality even when printing photos ; When warmed up, fast first page out as advertised ; Easy loading solid ink that produces a magazine quality feel ; Low cost of ownership compared to non-solid ink printers ; Prints on card stock and...

Borderless printing not available ; If it matters to you, it is somewhat loud

parts are very expensive

prints color.. when it works

after 2 years (shortly after the warranty ended) got a print head error that requires $700+ in parts to repair. If I knew i was going to only get 2 years out of it I would have bought another brand
