Lexmark's home inkjets are the epitome of easy-to-install easy-to-use printers. It might be wise, then, for Lexmark's business laser division to go and have a look at how they do it, since this new laser multifunction device, the Lexmark X502n, proves...
If you like a little experimentation, you'll find the Lexmark X502n has more than enough ability and class to make excellent work of your printing, scanning and faxing. However, the Lexmark X502n's documentation is poor and, for the inexperienced,...

Based on the same engine used to power the popular Lexmark c500 family of colour lasers, the x502n is a robust multifunction device from a respected manufacturer. But it's not particularly cheap and leaves a lot ...
Based on a proven colour laser printer engine, the Lexmark x502n is a robust and capable multi-function printer that will save money compared to buying separate dedicated devices. It's also relatively cheap to run, but we didn't find it as easy to use...

A powerful, fast colour MFP with scanner, document feeder and fax modem
Expert review by : M. David Stone (pcmag.com)
The Lexmark X502n combines fast, high-quality output with most of the features a small office needs—once you learn how to use them.
Fast. High-quality output. Printer; scanner; standalone fax machine, copier, and e-mail sender.
Can't fax from PC. Lacks instructions for key features.

Design The Lexmark X502n is a behemoth of a printer. It measures 21 inches tall, 19 inches wide, and 17.2 inches deep, and weighs a hefty 77 pounds. It's possible to move it yourself (speaking from experience) but not recommended, for fear of dropping...
Produces high-quality prints very quickly; low print costs; network ready; built-in ADF.
No junk fax blocker or secure fax receive mode; no way to save fax groups; walk-up scanning is not enabled with USB connections; grayscale scanning needs some improvement.
Although it's missing some fax features that many small offices and work groups find useful, the Lexmark X502n produces fast, high-quality prints. This is one laser multifunction that has a lot going for it.

Consumer review (product-reviews.net)
It is the cartridges that makes this printer all thumbs down. By the time I got the printer to work, the ink cartridge was out. The ink cartridge i bought that specified for the X5410 would not work. Sure, its a great printer when you can get it to...

This is a great printer. Scans, prints, and photocopies well. However, it is very slow to print and even slower to scan. But if you have time on your hands, this is a perfect printer.
