Kodak hero 9.1

Kodak's hero 9.1 offers a four-function all-in-one with modern trimmings, like a touchscreen control panel. Duplex print is still dodgy, though.

Large LCD touchscreen, Easy wireless connection, Straightforward controls

Duplex pages reduced in size, External power supply block, Little control over Google Cloud Prints

Kodak Hero 9.1 review

Can this cheap-to-run touchscreen printer challenge its rivals on quality?

Low running costs ; Feature-rich ; Excellent photo printing ; Great scanner ; 4.3-inch touchscreen

Mediocre build quality ; Poor plain paper image printing ; 3D printing is Windows-only ; Not very aesthetically pleasing ; No disc on-body printing

The Kodak Hero 9.1 is Google Cloud Print ready, can print from emails and also output directly from mobile devices using a free app. It offers Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB connectivity and has a 4.3-inch touchscreen.

Kodak Hero 9.1 All-in-One Printer review

The $250 Hero 9.1 is Kodak's newest flagship printer with do-it-all features including a fax machine, a 4.3-inch touch screen, and dual paper trays, and for only $50 more than its linemate, the Kodak Office Hero 6.1 . Competing models from HP, Canon,...

A low cost per printed page, dual paper feed trays, a functional touch screen, and capable print speeds make the Kodak Hero 9.1 a strong printer for home users.

The tricolor ink tank will cost more in refills over time than single-color cartridges, and the 50-sheet paper output tray could be too small for home offices with high-volume print needs.

The Hero 9.1 is a suitable choice for shoppers who need a capable multifunction imaging device with acceptable performance, apps that bring workflow into the cloud, and dual paper feed trays.

Kodak Hero 9.1 review

Kodak's Hero series of multifunction printers flip the accepted industry model. You'll pay a bit more up front for these smart looking all-in-ones - but you'll get your money back in the long run. The Kodak Hero 9.1 and its sibling printers are cheap...

The Kodak Hero 9.1 is the costliest printer in the Hero series, but you get a true all-in-one for your money. If you're a creative home user, it will meet all your needs. Keep it for a couple of years and you'll get your money back in saved ink costs too.

Kodak Hero 9.1 : Kodak Hero 9 1

A Multi Function product – as it has Fax – so why is it described as a Home product. Surely virtually no one in the home used Fax. I always struggle to find office users who still use Fax, but I assume Fax is still popular somewhere.

The Kodak Hero 9.1 measures 44x39x21cm and apart from maybe adding a few centimetres to open the flatbed lid that is the full footprint of the unit. The paper input tray fits snug to the front of the unit and the dimensions include the duplex bubble at...

Kodak Hero 9.1 All in One Printer review

Kodak's top of the range Hero is truly multifunctional but has quality issues. We've looked at a few of Kodak's new Hero...

Bigger and brighter LCD; draft text quality

Scan quality poor; not the fastest off the block

Kodak's Hero 9.1 gives you all four multifunction-features and an excellent array of connections, while it manages to combine many of the advantages of its younger siblings. Printing speeds are plodding and scan quality is disappointing.

REVIEW: Kodak Hero 9.1 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier

The Kodak Hero 9.1 throws into the mix pretty much every high-end feature you can think of for a consumer all-in-one printer. Can its print speed and quality live up to the allure of its silky 4.3 inch touchscreen and cloud-printing capabilities? Read...

It's not the cheapest all-in-one on the market, nor the fastest, but the Kodak Hero 9.1 does deliver solid print and scanning results, as well as offering a premium feature set that you'll be hard pressed to comprehensively find elsewhere. The single...

Kodak Hero 9.1 review

The Kodak Hero 9.1 is at the top of the range with a price point to match. Sharing the looks of its stylish siblings, the 9.1 does everything they can do - and a little bit more. For example, when reviewing the Kodak Office Hero 6.1 we wished for a...

Great build quality; crisp and accurate printouts, outstanding connectivity features, ink costs lower than from other manufacturers

Costs more than other models in the range with similar features

Kodak Hero 9.1 Review

The Kodak Hero 9.1 is a good, solid printer, but falls short on the more advanced functionality it aspires to provide.

While it met our printing expectations, a printer in this price range needs to do a lot more than lay ink to paper. A premium multi-function printer like the Hero 9.1 aspires to more. Wireless connectivity, built-in photo editing, and perks like a...
