HP Deskjet 1280

 

Like the Deskjet 9800, the 1280 is an A3+ inkjet, but that’s about all they have in common, physically at least. The Deskjet 1280 is big.

Very easy to set-up with the CD. Useful for larger formats eg displays,photographs,posters,etc.

No USB cable provided in package.

Good size for an A3 printer, nice quality images and varied selection of compatable media. Simple to install

Not edge to edge as I would of liked, does struggle with heavy weight media

Excellent printer, good quality print and stylish, robust and user friendly

Bulky product and no printer cable with it - Cost cutting I guess but at this price level I think HP could include one.

Bad

 

It appears the machine has been redesigned to use more ink than its economic predecessor. Would not buy another one.

Can print colour & B&W in A4 & A3.

The paperfeed is poor is often picks up too many sheets. Uses far more ink than its predecessor the 1125c, which was a brilliant machine.
