Can you get a quality inkjet printer for as little as £30? HP would say its Deskjet 1000 fits the bill.
Although the black print cost is quite high and the Deskjet 1000 can be a bit noisy, it’s still amazingly good value for £30. It prints text and graphics adequately and reasonably quickly, particularly if you switch to the surprisingly high-quality...

The advantage of doing without scanner, copier and all those extra features is that it keeps the price of your printer down, and the Deskjet 1000's current price of just £19.99 is hard to beat if you're on a tight budget. Yet despite the low price the...
If you really don’t need a multifunction printer then the very low price tag of the Deskjet 1000 is undoubtedly attractive. Just remember that the higher running costs could mount up over time, so look elsewhere if you’re likely to be using your...

It can sometimes happen that a company tends to be identified by one of their products rather than others. Take Hewlett Packard for example

The HP Business Inkjet 1000 is a business-oriented ink jet, with a 6,250-pages-per-month duty cycle and a high-capacity ink system at a surprisingly low price.
Text is near the high end for ink jet printers. Separate printheads and cartridges. High-capacity ink system. Duty cycle is 6,250 pages per month.
Performance is acceptable, but not stellar. Photo and graphics quality are midrange for an ink jet.

HP's low-cost, home-focused monochrome laser printer cuts corners on design but makes attractive prints.
The LaserJet 1000 doesn't take up much desk space--it's only 16 inches wide and 19 inches deep--and its paper tray holds 250 sheets, enough for a busy individual. Like the LaserJet 1200, its paper tray doesn't slide out, which makes adding paper...

Hewlett-Packard so dominates the printer market that it has long been able to sell its products for a premium (take, for instance, the $400 LaserJet 1200 ) while its competitors have had to snatch what market share they could by selling their products...
Easy setup; simple to use; helpful paper, online, and video documentation; whisper-quiet operation.
Poky text speeds; paper input tray feels flimsy; supports USB only; not Mac compatible.
An inexpensive laser printer aimed at home users with little or no computer experience.

HP invented the desktop laser, but the HP LaserJet 1000 ($250) falls short of the competition. It comes with a parallel-to-USB adapter cable, but the single-bin paper handling with no manual feed slot is limiting. And it offers no controls or power...

FSP has been making power supplies for about twenty years, but only in the last ten has it sold any under its own brand name. It recently sent us a PSU rated at 1000W from the Aurum Pro series, which also includes 850W and 1200W versions.
