A top-of-the-range photo inkjet all-in-one that has many interesting trimmings and can also print A3 photos
SD, CF and PictBridge sockets, Powered tray and control panel, CD/DVD print
Control panel doesn’t close under power, Fiddly A3 paper feed, Low capacity main paper tray

An near-3.5in touchscreen lets you tap into the Epson's many features. The TFT is very colourful, although the menu design tends to rely on text options rather than graphics, giving it a slightly dated feel. Nonetheless, navigation is straightforward,...
This is a very fully-featured device. However, it is pretty costly, and while the results are good for photo work, the model doesn't have the overall quality that we'd like to see on such an expensive MFD. Even with the addition of A3, this needs to be...

The Epson Expression Photo XP-950 takes the 'all-in-one' concept (a multi-function printer that, in the XP-950, includes text and photo printing, scanning and copying) to a new level with 11x17 inch capability using Claria Photo HD six-colour inks....

The Epson Expression Photo XP-950 Small-in-One Printer is a little weak on output quality, but it's fast, and it offers lots of features, including printing on tabloid-size paper.
Setting up the XP-950 on a network was standard fare. For my tests, I used the printer’s Ethernet port to connect to a wired network, and I ran the tests from a Windows Vista system.

Described by Epson as the “Photographer's Best Friend”, the Expression Photo XP-950 is an A3 All-In-One device. Predominately lacquered black in colour, with a matte silver band and Epson identifier on the front face, this unit offers scan, copy and...
With the standard arrangement of an A4 flatbed scanner mounted on top of a six-colour inkjet printer, the Photo XP-950 unit has dimensions of 479 x 358 x 148mm (W x D x H) and weighs in at 8.8 kg. Taking up a prominent position on the front of the unit...

Epson Expression Photo XP-950 Small-in-One Printer, excellent photographs and documents up to tabloid, or 11x17 inches, and good scans and copies.

This multi-function printer, combining printer, scanner and copier, glories in the full name of “Occasional A3 Multifunction Premium Photo Printer”. It is a six colour dye ink printer that is basically a standard A4 unit but it is configured for...
Colour prints are good with excellent rendition of fine detail. Printing direct from memory card or camera is easy and results are very good, especially on Epson’s best grades of paper. A3 printing is slow but this probably doesn’t matter for the...
The XP-650, like all inexpensive printers, cannot produce good black and white prints. There is always a colour cast
There is so much to like about this unit – its versatility and generally high quality output and low price – that we reckon the poor black and white performance can be lived with, if monochrome is your preference. Why not be like Nick Brandt (see...

An affordable multi-function printer than can produce photo-quality A3 prints and includes an A4 flatbed scanner/copier plus integrated Wi-Fi support.
On paper, Epson's Expression Photo XP-950 looked like a pretty good product – with an affordable price tag that represented good value when you consider all the things this device can do (hence the relatively high overall rating). And, while it will...
