Canon Pixma iP3600 review

Canon's 5-ink system continues to impress

Strong image quality ; Excellent build quality

No features beyond printing

The iP3600 is an excellent choice for anyone on a tight budget, although it's a little slow compared with Canon's more up-market iP4600 printer

Canon Pixma iP3600 review

The minimalist look is echoed by the Canon Pixma iP3600's functions. You won't find flash memory card slots, Wi-Fi or LCD displays here. Instead you get a simple PictBridge port, plus power and pause/resume buttons on the front. The standout features...

The Canon Pixma iP3600 may be basic, but it gets the basics right. It's fast and turns out beautiful prints that leave many of its rivals standing.

Canon Pixma IP3600 - In Brief

If Darth Vader was buying a photo printer, the £70 Canon Pixma iP3600 would be near the top of his shortlist.

Canon Inkjet Printer Pixma iP3600

I find it surprising that it is 11 months since I have reviewed an ink jet printer, by that I mean a printer as opposed to an all in one or a multi function unit. Unlike most inkjets it has two proper trays so you have far more control from the computer.

The Canon Pixma iP3600 inkjet printer measures 41x33x15cm with the rear upright tray closed, open the tray and add A4 paper and you add 22cm to the last figure the height. Sad to say it is black apart from a silver stripe so it is unlikely to pass the...

Canon PIXMA iP3600 Photo Printer

Having seen the other options that Canon has available for the home market, there is not much to distinguish the Canon PIXMA IP3600 overall from other models. Whilst the 17ppm printing in color does have its advantages for those of us looking at...

Canon Pixma iP3600

Priced at just $139 the Pixma iP3600 is a handsome and compact little unit in its piano black livery. It takes five ink cartridges made up of magenta, cyan, yellow, photo black and a double-sized plain black.

Canon Pixma iP3600

Very good for text- less for photos. Easy to load ink. Good software. Compact machine.

Very expensive ink- £45 upwards for 5 single cartridges. Uses ink for not only cleaning but when charging/changing settings prior to printing. When "ink is low," photo print quality is awful- unlike previous models where printing would be OK right up...
