TDK NX-02CD CD sound system

Looks very cool and contemporary ; Space saving design that can be hung on the wall ; Remote control operation ; Sleep and mute functions

Disappointing sound ; Looks may fade with wear and tear ; No battery back-up

Perhaps the 'wow' factor of the design sets up too high expectations for the sound, but the benefits of the NXT speakers are not as "clear" as they appear.

With country, acoustic and softer rock this system has fine sound - especially for such a small system at this price (current RRP is $299, I bought mine on discount for $180) ; Small, slim, good-looking and easy to use ; Like all NXT products, works...

May not have the bass weight for great dance music delivery (but very few mini or bookshelf systems do) ; Looks do fade with wear as review above suggests ; Quite heavy, so wall mounting requires sturdy fixings and may not be practical ; CD door...
