Sony Walkman NWZ-S616F (4GB)

Drag and drop file transfer, user interface, sound quality, search function

Included headphones, screen a little small for video

Sony's decision to discard their proprietary ATRAC format and clunky SonicStage software on the NWZ-S616F is a blessing. An excellent interface, good battery life and video playback make this a solid choice if you are after a compact music player.

Sony NWZ-S610 review: Sony NWZ-S610

Sony NWZ-S610

The Sony NWZ-S610 series features a compact design with a high-quality feel and an ample screen. The user interface is intuitive, and there are plenty of features to choose from, such as an FM radio and photo and video playback. No more awful...

The Sony NWZ-S610 series doesn't offer any exceptional new technology, and there are cheaper competitors that offer the same features.

The Sony NWZ-S610 series Walkman doesn't bring anything striking or new to the table, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a quality MP3 player with nice extras and a killer battery life. Plus, Sony got rid of SonicStage--the best news ever.

Sony Walkman NWZ-S610

The new NWZ-S10 Walkman line is solid, small, but not mind-blowing.

Great custom EQ. Excellent screen with horizontal or vertical viewing. Good file compatibility for audio. Straightforward navigation. Compact design.

Lousy earbuds. Limited video and photo file support.

Sony Walkman NWZ-S616F/B Media Player

The legacy of the Walkman continues, but will this one stand out in the burgeoning crop of new PMPs?

Good audio quality, Good user interface, Tactile controls, speedy data transfers

Doesn't have as large a screen as we'd have liked, A bit expensive

Sony Walkman NWZ-S615F

If this impressive little gadget from Sony is anything to go by, Apple can't afford to rest on its laurels.

If you are in the market for a small, relatively inexpensivedigital music player, this little package from Sony is well worthconsidering. Now if Sony could inject a little of that Apple designflair, it could really give Steve Jobs a run for his money.

Sony Walkman NWZ-S615F (2GB)

Sony's new Walkman MP3 player makes do without its SonicStage software and aims to provide users with a player that works without much of a hitch. And even if Sony is a little bit delayed in terms of delivering a solid music and video player for the...

Drag and Drop Function; Easy to use; Good audio quality; 3.5mm jack for jacking-in your favourite headphones; Long battery life; Support for various audio and video files

Screen is too small for video viewing; Uses a proprietary USB jack
