Good sound and was value for money - until it died suddenly

Bought this for the advertised battery life. However this turns itself on constantly in my bag, so the battery drains very fast. And now, after only just over a year of fairly irregular use, the device has now completely died!

Sound quality is excellent. Volume auto-normalisation feature really useful when using shuffle.

This is a 14GB player (there is not 16GB available for storage) and it should be advertised as such.

Simple to operate, good range of features, attractive design, equal in quality to competitors but far better value for money.

The preset eq settings offer little, which is my only gripe.

Good sound, although max sound could be louder. Overall a great product from Sony.
