Is Sansa's iPod-nano rivalling media player still a worthy opponent?
The more obvious change on the Fuze+ verses the Fuze is the removal of the control wheel carried by ever Sansa player since the e200-series, in favour of a capacitive control surface. Capacitive controls being all the rage currently we can see why...

Big, colourful screen, smart design, nicely balanced sound
Occasionally frustrating touchscreen interface isn’t good enough
The Fuze+ has plenty going for it, but the touchscreen could work better

Nicely balanced sound but the touchscreen lets it down
Big, colourful screen ; smart design ; nicely balanced sound
Occasionally frustrating touchscreen interface isn’t good enough

SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ MP3/MP4 Player is a new addition to the brand in its series of media players. It has brought in changes in the design and the control system is designed unique which gives ease of operation. It has reached the position of...
This Player, USB 2.0 cable, earphones, quick start guide and Rhapsody software CD are the contents of the package when ordered for delivery.

Sansa's Fuze+ introduces a large 2.4-inch screen, touch controls, and capacity up to 16GB, all while costing less than the iPod Nano.
Sleek, lightweight design ; Colorful, modern interface ; Much cheaper than a comparable iPod Nano ; 2.4-inch LCD screen ; Expandable with microSD cards
Clumsy touch controls ; Screen difficult to watch for long periods

SanDisk's original Sansa Fuze may have had a solid run -- it's been a particular favorite among those looking for a good, inexpensive player that doesn't
Inexpensive ; Impressive range of features ; microSD card slot
Sluggish interface ; Touch panel causes problems ; Feels a little cheap
The Sansa Fuze+ is inexpensive and feature-packed, but hampered by slow performance and a finicky touchscreen that will have you wishing for some actual buttons.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze+ MP3
The Sansa Fuze+ comes in a variety of colors and capacities, at superaffordable prices. Features such as video playback, AAC compatibility, FM radio, photos, podcasts, Rhapsody support, voice recording, and Mac compatibility make it an easy iPod...
The new touch-pad navigation is sluggish; screen resolution isn't great; audio quality is just average; and the all-plastic design feels cheap.
You can find smaller or cheaper MP3 players, but you won't find a better value than the Sansa Fuze+ in terms of dollars per features.

Apple has enjoyed an undeniable stranglehold over the $100+ portable media player market for years nowit's pretty much been iPods and also-rans. The budget realm, however, has never been Apple's strong suit, and SanDisk and other manufacturers make...
Very reasonable price for capacity, performance. User interface features good-looking animated graphics. FM radio recording and voice recording. MicroSD slot for swappable content
Slow reaction time from touch pad. Occasionally, controls don't respond to touch. Navigation can be tedious
If you live outside the iTunes ecosystem, the Sansa Fuze+ offers better features than either the Apple iPod nano or the iPod shuffle and is priced to compete with both players.

When it was time for SanDisk to update the Fuze, they dubbed it the Fuze+ rather than make it a completely new player- just as they did with the Sansa Clip+. While the Clip+ truly was a minor (but awesome) update though, you can stare at the Fuze and...
The Fuze+ is not an easy player to judge objectively. On one hand, the design is good, possible storage capacity is excellent, menus are very nice looking and there are plenty of features for such a player. On the other hand. the controls are so beyond...

An affordable MP3 player that comes bundled with loads of features.
Loads of features, capacitative touch controls, great battery life, affordable price tag
Bundled earphones, Sensitive touch pad can leave you pressing keys unintentionally
The device also comes bundled with a bunch of Tiesto songs and videos. Personally, I’m not a fan of Tiesto but if you like his music, you’ve got an added incentive to buy this MP3 player.
