RCA Lyra RD2212 (256MB)

This flash-based MP3 player isn't quite every fitness-oriented music lover's dream, but it's cheap and sturdy.

Sturdy and splashproof. Very good sound quality. Audible.com and PlaysForSure support. Cute novelty fitness features.

Buttons are tough to press. Navigation and responsiveness could be better. Browsing is only by folder unless you use the included software. Not enough memory.

This is a very good-sounding, rugged player with some nice extra features. Bad navigation and controls, however, hold it back.

Good Player for under $100

I got this as a gift from my husband for christmas. It was sweet and thoughtful, but I wish he would have splurged a little more after owning this for over a year. First of all, it's stylish and it has several great features. You CAN play tracks ...

Easy to use, compact, good sound, neat features

Unreliable, small memory capacity, wears easily

You get what you pay for

First of all, I purchased my MP3 player from Target. I was having trouble deciding between models. I wanted a good but reasonable player for less than $100. The Lyra was around $90 ($97 with tax I think) but Target offered an instant $30 gift card with...

Returned it after two days

Cute, nice shape to hold in your hand, case seems good for sports use.

Too difficult to use.

I got mine about 3 weeks ago, time for a review. *Please read my update at the bottom; I've taken away a star because of some problems with RCA/Thompson customer service. INTRODUCTION I bought the RCA Lyra after some internal debate; the player ...
