LG MF-FM37 review

LG goes all touchy-feely

User interface ; Video and sound quality ; Good looks

Small screen ; DivX not supported

With gorgeous looks, impressive performance and an ingenious user interface, LG's slinky media player is a right touch, despite the small screen

LG FM37 review

It's no size zero portable, but once you know how it likes to be touched it is one delightful performer

Good looks and great sound combine to make a terrific player

Controls can be a little unintuitive at times

Once you’ve mastered the touch-screen you’ll have plenty of fun with this great effort from LG

LG FM37

At £129 for the 2GB flavour, LG's FM37 isn't cheap, but it's one stylish music player. It has a brushed metal finish similar to LG's Shine phone, and a stunning touchscreen.

It’s simply beautiful, dahling, and just feel the quality. Even better, listen to the sound quality and check out that stunning screen. But it’s not the most user-friendly music player we’ve used, and only those with gilded pockets need apply.

Hewn from shiny aluminium and loaded with the same processing as LG's TVs, the FM37 looks to have fallen from portable video heaven

LG Touch Me FM37 MP3 player

The personal multi-media category is a crowded one and has risen to a very high point in terms of consumer awareness.

LG - Touch FM37

People who have been in and around the technology industry for a decade or two might argue that we're nearing a peak, certainly in terms of consumer gadgets and peripherals. The elements that drive the industry ...

Despite a decent range of features and impressive media playback, the touch-screen really seems quite unnecessary and only serves to make the Touch FM37 rather awkward and frustrating to use.

Touchscreen, Drag and drop, Good quality sound, Lots of features

Poor radio

The FM37 is a brilliant portable media player which brings touch screen functionality properly into the media player space. While the screen itself is quite sensitive and takes some getting used to, it is quite intuitive and the rest of the features...

LG's FM37 touch-screen PMP reviewed: better than it should be

Expert review by : Nate Lanxon (cnet.com.au)

LG FM37

The LG FM37 is an incredibly stylish player with a refreshing touchscreen interface and excellent sound quality -- but ease of use is sacrificed for the gorgeous design.

Stylish design ; Touchscreen ; Sound quality ; Voice recorder ; Drag-and-drop support in Windows

Menus are fiddly with the touchscreen ; Average battery life

Ultimately, the FM37 is best for the style-conscious music fan -- the rest of us will find that its ease of use has been compromised too much for an aesthetically satisfying design.
