JNC SSF-11

 

The JNC SSF-11 is based on a good overall concept but comes up lacking in the execution of most features.

Host of features in one unit, including MP3 player, voice recorder, FM radio, file storage, etc

Cryptic user controls ; Limited storage capability (128MB) ; Proprietary software required to transfer files

Difficult to understand user interface (e.g. hold down the RADIO button for 5 seconds to switch it on??? Weird).

The proprietary file format seem very space efficient. For example, I recorded a consultation that went for over 2 hours. The resulting file was only about 7 MB. When converted to WAV format it blew out to 25 MB. Having said that, it would be far...
