Consumer review (newegg.com)

Decent player with tons of storage

See the other posts about how to create a playlist,it works. For the money, you really cant complain. Try it, you'll like it!

Space.I mean,20 gigs for $80 bucks?None better for the price.Sturdy, good size, most ipod cases work with it. Good sound. Screen easy to read in sunlight

Battery life not that great, real life about 10 or so hours, and thats with cycling the battery

Cons heavily outweigh Pros.

After owning it a while, you come to find out why it's as cheap as it is. You're better off choosing another MP3 player, even if it's more expensive.

Cheap. Doubles as a hard drive. 20GB of space should be more than enough for most users. I had about 3000 songs on it with about 8GB to spare, but that's where one of the cons comes in

It seemed like the more music I put on it, the slower it performed. Loading up the songs could take as long as 10 minutes, and switching from song to song could take as long as 30 seconds. After owning it for 10 months, the LCD screen broke. Inoi...

I haven't had problems with it.

looking at the other reviews, I am wondering if the people bashing on it actually looked at the software that came with it, or the manual. I have no problem finding any of my songs, and my only lock was with a file with a too high bitrate.

does everything I want, so long as the file isn't corrupt, and is within the bitrate specification it says it will play, at least in my experience, perfect

The shuffle is a bit streaky, but it doesn't play the exact same shuffled order every time (it WILL play the first song in the folder first every time) the manual offers some suggestions for getting the shuffle to work more randomly

One problem after another

Looking at the other reviews, I'm not the only user that has experienced the player freezing up during songs. Their tech support replaced it, but never got back to me about what was wrong. The new one has the same problems.

Holds lots of music (mine has 540+ songs on it) and doubles as an external hard drive, capabilities not offered with other leading mp3 players

Locks up on certain songs, you have to manually reset it. Battery charge diminishes quickly. After having this MP3 player for 6 months, it won't hold a charge for 15 mins and I just hate it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Very pleased

For those looking for a good deal on a micro-drive MP3 player with ample storage space, and who are unconcerned with having the "cool" product, it's a great deal

The product works perfectly for my purposes. I was able to fit nearly my entire music collection in the drive and I use it daily, through a cassette interface in my car deck, to crank tunes on my way to and from work. The quality of the construction is...

I lacks the "intuitive" interface of the ipod, but for a fraction of the price the sacrifice is worth it
