Finis SwimP3 Surf

I think I love the SwimP3. As someone who enjoys the occasional 20 lengths in the local municipal pool, my problem with the activity is that it's dull as dishwater (if not quite the same colour). It's the one solo sport you could never use an MP3...

Great concept, Works well

Expensive

A novel idea, and that's worth a lot, although

Finis SwiMP3

If sub aqua-sonics are what you're after, this MP3 player is waterproof and comes with a clip for easy attachment to a snorkelling mask. It also uses bone conduction technology to deliver clearer underwater audio. Finis SwiMP3 has no tags.

Finis SwiMP3

Swimming laps can be a drag, but the Finis SwiMP3 makes waves by bringing your favorite tunes to the pool. See if it's right for you.

Utilizes innovative bone-conduction audio technology; sounds fine underwater; allows swimmers to break up the splashy monotony with tunes; comes with its own goggles but can be used with other brands.

Expensive; placement of controls on the back of the head makes it difficult to operate; excessively loud if not placed directly against cheekbones; can cause nausea; doesn't include wall charger.

The SwiMP3 could add some fun to your swim routine, if you can afford it--just beware of potential nausea-inducing inner ear imbalance.

Take the price and measly amount of onboard memory momentarily out of the equation, and Finis' waterproof SwiMP3 v2 headphones possess at least three traits of interest to audio and water-sport enthusiasts, including any lap-counter seeking to break...

Finis’ patented technology essentially boils down to using two hard-plastic earpieces, or “paddles,” that rest against the cheek bones and transfer audio by vibrating the fluid in the inner ear. Four buttons on one paddle control track selection,...
