Underwhelmed to Totally Disappointed

My daughter got this for Christmas last year. I helped the person who bought it pick it out, thinking this would be a good starter MP3 player for her. It only has a single AAA battery in it and it chews through those in under and hour. The navigation...

Inexpensive. SD Card slot

Stopped work in under a year. Minimal battery life

REALLY HARD TO GET REBATES

it can function

The product is built roughly. As for the rebates, it is really hard to contact them to inquire the status. They didn't reply your email

YOU WILL NEVER GET THE REBATE!

None

I Have been waiting for months for a rebate from this company. We sent in all the paperwork properly, within the proper dates. They do not respond to emails, other than to say that they can not help you. YOU WILL NEVER GET THE REBATE

Works Alright.

It doesn't give the name of the song, but it never claimed to so I can't really put this under Con

Overall it's a good little unit and has good sound

I have a 2 GB card in mine and getting to the right song is annoying, the only way to go through the list is one song at a time. Also if i stick it in my pocket the card gets bumped too easily and it makes it hard to do things while I am listening to...

It Works

I wrote an earlier review in which I stated that the battery life was only 3-4 hours. I have since noticed that the battery life is probably twice that or 6-8 hours on a rechargeable

Still complain about the lack of random playback but for the price after rebate, I can live with it

Well I guess you get what you pay for

Its small and it plays mp3 files

No way to select songs ; No rechargeable battery ; Tried it on two computers and it tells me the disk is write-protected. The chip is not write protected (I tried it alone in a card reader) and the hold button is off ; Meh. I only got it cuz it was $4...

It works

I will use rechargeable batteries with this player and it would work for me if I could get it to shuffle or randomly play the songs I have on it. Right now it plays them in alphabetical order.

The player is cheap and it works OK. The sound is good and you change out the music by simply changing memory cards. It will let me change cards while it's on and quickly scans the new memory

The headphones can be improved and the screen is very small. It eats batteries very quickly. A new alkaline battery lasted only 3-4 hours. If you see the message "lo6 att" it means "low battery". It has a function referred to as [A-B] that is supposed...

Cute and Functional

It is super small and cute and it is easy to load the songs on and off the player. I'm sure I'll get my money's worth since it was only $5 after rebate

You can't see the titles of the songs. But if you were ok with just setting it to play all your songs in no particular order it's fine

Good for the price

Well worth what it cost.

Simple. Very small

No way to put songs in any particular order. Also, the headphones that came with it were broken

Consumer review (newegg.com)

seems good

Good for running :)

Really simple to understand. Use's a memory card like a camera, and is VERY small. no more then perhaps 1.5 inchs tall and about 1.5cm's thick. It says you can't have anything bigger then a 2gig card though

Headphones...I have my own...but these are really silly. one ear phone cord is about 6 inchs longer then the other, and one sounds like its blown out already from when I frist tried it
