Creative Zen Hybrid Review

The Creative Zen Hybrid are a solid pair of over-ear noise-cancellers featuring a clear, detailed audio performance at an affordable price

Affordable price ; Clear, detailed audio ; Effective noise-cancellation ; Solid wireless performance

Plastic build quality ; Weak bass response ; Below average call quality

A solid pair of over-ear noise-cancelling headphones from the Creative, the Zen Hybrid features a clear, detailed audio performance and effective noise-cancellation at an affordable price, though those who enjoy bassy music should steer clear.

Creative Zen 4GB

Can the new flash-based Zen give the iPod nano a run for its money?

Creative has come up trumps with its new, flash-based, mini media player. Pitched as a direct competitor to the iPod nano it beats it on most fronts with the one exception being that its physical controls aren't quite as nice to use. It comes in a...

Is Microsoft's original favourite still a class act?

A reasonable performer hampered by Microsoft's apparent insularity

Creative Zen 4GB review

Creative's answer to the new iPod nano. Can it hold its own?

Competitive price ; Interface is great ; DivX support ; iTunes AAC support

It's plastic, not aluminium

The perfect iPod nano alternative

PC Plus review: Creative Zen PMC

If you don't own a PC capable of TV taping, it's hugely disappointing. Without the ability to directly record video, and no easy way to port DVDs to the PMC, you'd be better off buying a portable DVD player.

Creative Zen NX

Since the launch of the iPod, every hard drive based MP3 has wanted to ape its design and resulting success. The Creative Zen NX is unfortunately no different. Cased in a - you guessed it - white metal body, everything from the soft carry pouch to the...

USB 2.0 connection this time; Capacity

You’ve seen it before; not an iPod-beater

For users of the creative range before, this is just the Jukebox re-packaged. That said the smaller more convenient size - it’s about the size of a small novel - will please those who want to fit this inside a jacket pocket. If it wasn’t for the iPod...

Creative Zen 4GB

You can't escape the fact that Apple's iPod defines portable media, but it certainly isn't the only option or the best. Take the latest addition to the Creative line-up as an example: the Zen is small, light, well designed and far more capable than the...

Good screen, Better file compatibility than the iPod, Radio and SD card slot

Interface not as good as the nano

If you own a PC, then this is a better media player than the iPod nano

Creative Zen 8GB review

Creative's superslim Zen has an attractive 2.5in colour display, an FM tuner, a built-in microphone, robust video- and photo-viewing capabilities and the ability to import contact management information. And the Creative Zen 8GB even plays music.

The Creative Zen 8GB lacks the Wi-Fi capabilities of the iPod touch, but has plenty else going for it and is a great choice for gadgeteers and audiophiles alike. A worthy award-winner.

Creative Zen review

Creative's back with a serious-looking mini media player. How's it going to fare against Apple's ubiquitous iPod Nano?

Creative Zen Hybrid SXFI review: Nailing the basics at a good price

A wireless headphone with both ANC and SXFI, and at a very palatable price. #Creative #SXFI #Headphones

Decent sound ; SXFI good for movies ; Good battery life ; Multipoint support ; Attractively priced

ANC is weak ; Substandard mic performance ; Poor passive noise isolation ; SXFI doesn't work well all the time

The TL;DR version: If you’re looking for a good basic set of headphones that won’t break the bank, the Zen Hybrid SXFI offers a unique blend of features and performance that punch well above their weight class. Note : You can find the Creative Zen...
