Following the latest trend in downsizing those cleaver chaps at Cowon have done it again, weighing a mere 34 grams the iAudio U2 is a micro MP3 player that still packs a 1gb punch!

Excellent sound quality; small and light; eye-catching looks; FM, line-in, and built-in mic recording; equalizer and several sound effects; USB 2.0 support; no drivers necessary in Windows XP or Mac OS X.

Limited recording options; average battery life; no photo or video features.

The stylish, flash-memory Cowon iAudio U2 crams great sound quality, an FM radio, and line-in recording into a tiny package.

In an era where portable audio players are more of a fashion accessory, Cowon has taken a more traditional path with the iAudio U2.

The Cowon iAudio U2 flash memory MP3 player is as small as a packet of gum, but it comes packed with valuable features. You can listen to MP3 music, FM radio, or you can use it as a recorder and record radio programs, voice, or other audio sources...

Value for money: The Cowon iAudio U2 is very good value for money. It comes with a large screen (for a flash memory MP3 player), good (although small) joystick and nice built-in features, like radio and voice recorder.

Cowon iAudio U2 1GB

It's tiny and incredibly light! The sound quality is superior to my iRiver H140, and far superior to an iPod so I am more than happy. 1GB didn't seem much when I'm used to 40GB but since it charges via the USB cable it only takes a couple of seconds to...

The controls could be more intuitive.
