Cowon iAudio U2

Following the latest trend in downsizing those cleaver chaps at Cowon have done it again, weighing a mere 34 grams the iAudio U2 is a micro MP3 player that still packs a 1gb punch!

Performance

Cowon iAudio U2

Excellent sound quality; small and light; eye-catching looks; FM, line-in, and built-in mic recording; equalizer and several sound effects; USB 2.0 support; no drivers necessary in Windows XP or Mac OS X.

Limited recording options; average battery life; no photo or video features.

The stylish, flash-memory Cowon iAudio U2 crams great sound quality, an FM radio, and line-in recording into a tiny package.

Cowon iAudio U2 MP3 Player

In an era where portable audio players are more of a fashion accessory, Cowon has taken a more traditional path with the iAudio U2.

Excellent sound quality, Tons of features, Good bundle, Direct MP3 encoding, Supports wide variety of audio formats, Upgradeable firmware, Sturdy build quality, Good battery life, Simple and smart user interface

Average FM tuner, Uncomfortable headphones, Cracks at peak volume

Cowon iAudio U2

The Cowon iAudio U2 really made our day when we got our hands on it. The previous model, the iAudio 4, was similar to the new U2 version, but it looked a little different. What is nice about the iAudio U2 is its size, you can slip it right into your...

playing it large on a small scale

iAudio U2: Accessories Unlike many other South-Korean companies, the people at Cowon have most often put much care into their unit's accessory sets. First of all, the unit's packaging is pretty convincing. A purplish glow shines down upon us when facing t

Taking in consideration that the U2 is an improved version of the already rather-impressive iAudio 4, there's little worth complaining about. It's smaller than its predecessor while operating it has become way easier, whereas iAudio 4's top-notch sound...

Cowon iAudio U2 MP3 player

The Cowon iAudio U2 flash memory MP3 player is as small as a packet of gum, but it comes packed with valuable features. You can listen to MP3 music, FM radio, or you can use it as a recorder and record radio programs, voice, or other audio sources...

Value for money: The Cowon iAudio U2 is very good value for money. It comes with a large screen (for a flash memory MP3 player), good (although small) joystick and nice built-in features, like radio and voice recorder.

Cowon iAudio U2 1GB

It's tiny and incredibly light! The sound quality is superior to my iRiver H140, and far superior to an iPod so I am more than happy. 1GB didn't seem much when I'm used to 40GB but since it charges via the USB cable it only takes a couple of seconds to...

The controls could be more intuitive.
