Mitashi MNEC-1GB MP3 Player

This is by far the tiniest player I have reviewed. Mitashi players have usually impressed, and while they tend to be feature-rich, there's still been some scope for improvement. This one is an aberration though. Thankfully, unlike many manufacturers,...

While the sound is decent, it's a whimsical and unreliable design concept. Enjoying music is the last thing you get to do with the Mitashi MNEC-1GB. It costs Rs 1990, which is a good price for the sound quality. However, the quirks may put you off.

Works good

Great for the price

Cheap, 1GB of mem, use like a jump drive without additional chord. No software required, just plug in and copy files

Has a non intuative interface. Takes some getting used to

This MP4 player is nice

I would say get it. Cause the sound is real good. The EQ comes in handy.

This player is real good. I would advise who ever is thinking about getting one of these to do so. It's video quality is real good also. The sound is MIND BLOWING. The bass in the headphones sound like 12' subs

Kind of small to me. But bigger than what most players are

Great for the money!

If I had a choice between an ipod shuffle and this. I would choose this player over a shuffle anyday.

For the price this is an amazing player! It has a decent navigation system, great radio, good quality microphone, and great quality audio playback. This player can also be used as a thumb drive! No wires and easy to put songs on it

None

Not so hot

It's now on it's way back to NewEgg on an RMA to be exchanged. We'll see.

It's cute

Couldn't charge battery ; Not Vista compatible? XP recognized immediately, but Vista asked for a driver, for which none was available

Not so Good

You get what u paid for.

Just got it today and fooled around with it for a few hours. It has a lot of features and I like how it has a rechargeable lithium battery

I got this player based on the good ratings on it and it's not what i expected. The worst part is that you cannot play music while browsing through your folders. The picture quality really sucks but i haven't tried out the video yet(I'm sure its the same)

A good deal, once you figure everything out

If you have trouble converting certain files to AMV format, try downloading and installing the "SDL Codec pack." (finding this took me several days.)

Has a built in speaker, stores nearly 5 hours of video

Does not play mp4 files, it requires you to convert your videos to .AMV format. The program needed to do this is very poorly documented and does not work in Linux. The manual is also very poor

Woo Hoo

I really enjoy this bad boy. music, TV shows, pictures of my dog, and many, many recordings of flatulence keep me entertained for hours. Oh, its light weight and small. I still am amazed at the size of the screen in relation to the size of the unit....

Cheap. Small. Lightweight. USB Rechargeable Battery ; Big screen for such a little player. No BLOATWARE required to use it! Thats right, plug it in, and WinXP sees it as a flash drive- drag and drop your files and go. Oh, its also a voice recorder,...

manual is in Engrish ; States "Firmingware is available" and worse...is a good laugh, but not much help. company website is a bit useless too. if you are technologically declined, you better stick to an iPod

SUPER!

It still working good, the speaker works fin. The battery supplies enough energy for 8 hours with speaker working. Great deal. I Love Newegg!!!

I got a wonderful big screen MP4 player 2.5" for just 95 ; I added some memory: SD Card 1 Gb ; and it plays everything

Maximum Sd Card capacity supported is 1 Gb ; Drvers don't work on Vista ; Prety shittie plastic quality
