Today we're reviewing another product from SteelSeries, this time it's from their wide range of gaming mice. The SteelSeries Xai boasts features such as pro gamer profiles, true sensitivity and best-in-class technology. Read on to find out about these...

Comfortable

Lack of customisable buttons

The SteelSeries Xai Laser gaming mouse would be a great choice for any gamer, but costing £50, some may choose to buy cheaper, better alternatives. A couple of things that I didn’t like about the Xai Laser were that the DPI Profile button only switches...

SteelSeries Xai Laser Mouse Review

Conclusion [COLOR=#000000] This is definitely one of the best mice currently on the market. It has many features that are all extremely useful. I found only two small faults with it, the loading up on the low CPI setting and the right-hand side buttons...

SteelSeries Xai Laser Mouse Review

SteelSeries have sent us their Xai laser gaming mouse for review. Lets see how this model performs!

Incredibly well specified ; Highly programmable ; Macro functionality ; Braided cable and gold plated USB ; Ambidextrous design suitable for both righties and lefties ; Comfortable to use ; LCD display makes profile selection and editing easy ; Works...

Quite pricy ; No weight system (although weight was not personally an issue for me)

The Xai is an impeccably presented mouse. It looks good, feels good and works very well indeed.

SteelSeries Xai

Marketed as a first-person shooter gaming mouse, the SteelSeries Xai succeeds in comfort and features, but falls short on the battlefield.

Comfortable feel. Solid software interface and feature set. Ambidextrous design.

More resistant than I would have liked for an FPS mouse. Simple design. Price is a little steep compared to other FPS gaming mice.

SteelSeries Xai Laser

Excellent precision. Truly ambidextrous. All buttons are customisable. No-nonsense control panel with high configuration. All settings can be changed on the mouse itself through the LCD screen.

Pricey. Macro editor is buggy.

The Xai is an excellent product that proves a mouse doesn't need to be custom-moulded to the right hand to be good for gaming. Throw in the detailed control panel and excellent performance, and you have a mouse that's well worth parting your...

SteelSeries Xai Medal of Honor Edition Mouse Review

Simplicity at its most effective.

Highly customizable; No need for software; QcK surface is large and smooth; Ambidextrous; 5 Profiles with full customization and macros

DPI switch only allows to switch between two values

The rubberized base is good, and given the large surface area, it will almost never move from place. Since the QcK surface is cloth and rubber, you can easily fold it and take it with you wherever. My concern is that over time the edging of the cloth...
