Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch review

The bamboo tablet goes multi-touch in time for Windows 7

Plenty of sensitivity ; Drawing feels natural ; Easy to use software ; Customisable buttons

Multi-touch doesn't really work ; Small tablet area ; Only one type of nib included

Wacom Bamboo Capture CTH470

The Bamboo Capture is no longer the killer value it once was, thanks to the now-missing eraser, but it's still a good drawing tablet for basic sketch and collaboration work.

Accurate positioning and pressure sensitivity. Multi-touch and pen input with one device. Excellent software bundle.

No more eraser. Flimsy plastic pen.

Drawing, Multi-Touch, and Conclusions Wacom has been producing drawing surfaces for the better part of two decades, so even the inexpensive Bamboo Capture works reliably. At 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity, the Bamboo Capture offers twice the...

Wacom Bamboo CTH-470

Generally excellent tablet! My first one - takes a little time to get used to but a lot of fun to use.

Sometimes when I draw, the cursor randomly skips a few millimetres and I have to undo and redraw. Not a huge problem, just something I've noticed!
