Wacom Bamboo Fun

Bamboo Fun is ideal for graphics applications, making your computer your canvas, allowing you to freely express yourself by simply touching the pen tip to the tablet. It includes Adobe Photoshop Elements 5, Corel Painter Essentials 3.0 and Nik Color...

Wacom Bamboo Fun

When it comes to illustration, a graphic tablet is preferred by some to a mouse. At under £150 the Bamboo from Wacom is a good choice. We take a look at what Wacom's Bamboo has to offer.

Precise control over both creative applications and everyday tasks, RSI reducing potential, solid Wacom build, attractive desktop accessory, widescreen compatible, premium end of Bamboo range

No mouse, white can look a little grubby after heavy use, no clip to store pen securely

Gripes about choice of colours aside, this is still a Wacom tablet with all the potential for creativity associated with a still vibrant company. Add a new contemporary look, the obvious RSI benefits and the ability to convert handwritten text to type...

Wacom Bamboo Fun Review

Best4Reviews rates Wacom's attempt to woo the non-graphics professional with a budget graphics tablet

Easy and intuitive to use, stylish, build quality, neat navigation with Touch Ring and ExpressKeys

Price, not much else

Stylish, easy and intuitive to use with a nice software package to boot, the Wacom Bamboo Fun is not exactly an impulse buy at £140. But it still provides a superbentry point into the 'fun' world of the graphics pad.

Review: Wacom Bamboo Fun

Ian Waugh has fun with a graphics tablet

Fun! Excellent graphics software included

Touch not universally useable, Bamboo Medium a little pricey

ArtRage is probably the most fun program in the package, enabling you to paint in a vast range of styles. It's certainly an enjoyable program although serious artists will also find a wealth of potential in it, too.

Wacom Bamboo Fun

It's like touching pen to paper ; thin, sleek and stylish

There are no wireless options, it's not suited for left-handed people

Bamboo Fun tablets bring the benefits of pen and tablet computing to a consumer audience. It may take a while to get accustomed to using a tablet; but if you stick with it, you'll find that the Bamboo offers a natural approach to drawing, photo...

Wacom Bamboo Fun

The Wacom Bamboo Fun is a tablet that not only helps you create images you can use for your scrapbooks, but also has a function that lets you experience touch.

Accurate pen; Easy to use; Tutorial definitely helps; Touch gestures are good; Included software; A good tablet for both enthusiasts and hobbyist alike; Small profile; Programmable buttons

Does not come with a clear sheet; Price may turn off some users (despite being bundled with two very good programs)

Bamboo Fun

When I think drawing tablets, I think Wacom. I have been using the Graphire series of tablets for many years. This past fall Wacom replaced the Graphire tablet line with the Bamboo Fun line of tablets. (The Graphire BT, or Bluetooth, is still made)....
